New Safe Mode in Windows 8.1

Unlike the usual methods, Microsoft given a slightly modified form to start Windows 8.1 operating system in Safe mode. If boot doesn't happen as usual, we can reboot the system by using installation disc.
To get 'Safe mode' menu follow the below steps in windows 8.1
  1. Boot the Windows 8 or 8.1 system by installation disc or system recovery media. Click on 'Next' from the first screen which will ask you to select language.
  2. Select option 'Repair your computer' from the next screen.
  3. Then, click on 'Troubleshoot' button.
  4. Select 'Advanced options' and then click on 'Command prompt'.
  5. Type the following commands,  
    bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy  and then press 'Enter'.
  6. Then reboot your system. While booting process, press F8 to get 'Safe mode' option.
