Microsoft is offering to upgrade from windows 8 to windows 8.1 at free of charge. However, the currently available figures, there are many more Windows 8 system remain unchanged. Currently, Google is offering 1 GB per second to its customer through 'Fiber' service in Kansas city area. Google is working on to offer 10 times faster than what it delivers to its customer now. If this comes to real, a drastic change will happen in internet usage. Patrick Pichette, chief financial officer of the tech giant, said it could take as long as 10 years to create the technology, but Google hopes to deliver it as early as three years from now. Unlike the usual methods, Microsoft given a slightly modified form to start Windows 8.1 operating system in Safe mode. If boot doesn't happen as usual, we can reboot the system by using installation disc. To get 'Safe mode' menu follow the below steps in windows 8.1 Boot the Windows 8 or 8.1 system by installation disc or system recovery media. Click on 'Next' from the first screen which will ask you to select language. Select option 'Repair your computer' from the next screen. Then, click on 'Troubleshoot' button. Select 'Advanced options' and then click on 'Command prompt'. Type the following commands,   bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy   and then press 'Enter'. Then reboot your system. While booting process, press F8 to get 'Safe mode' option.

Microsoft started to give warning messages through pop up for XP users stating that Microsoft is not going to release any support or patch files for windows XP operating system.
